A little bit about me

Hey there, fellow parents and curious minds!

Welcome to the world of SolBe Mar, where we explore the exhilarating, messy, and beautiful journey of parenthood, early eduation and LIFE. I'm Marlo Tersigni, a partner at SolBe Learning in Chestnut Hill, MA, and Two Little Owls Schoolhouse in Cambridge, MA. But more than just a title, I'm a passionate advocate for conscious parenting, early education, infertility awareness and non-toxic living. Let's dive into my story and all the adventures that come with it!

Picture this: a psychology major with a love for art and a knack for Spanish. That's where my journey began during my undergrad years, when I pursued a BA in Psychology with minors in Studio Art and Espanol. Little did I know that these diverse interests would shape my path in unexpected and wonderful ways.

Fast forward to Durham University, where I embarked on a thrilling academic adventure, earning my Masters of Science in Developmental Psychopathology. This unique blend of psychology and understanding the complexities of child development became my passion and area of expertise.

But life had more surprises in store for me. After marrying The Real Ty Tyson in 2018, I found myself on a rollercoaster ride of infertility and IVF. The road was rocky, filled with emotional highs and lows, but through it all, I discovered strength, resilience, and the profound joy of finally becoming a parent.

And let's be real here - parenting isn't always a picture-perfect, Instagram-worthy experience. It's messy, chaotic, and full of unexpected challenges. That's why I'm here to share the good, the bad, and the hilariously unbelievable moments of my journey. From those notorious diaper blowouts in the most inconvenient places to the comical parenting fails that leave us questioning our sanity, we'll laugh, learn, and navigate this wild ride together.

Along the way, I've discovered some favorite (non-toxic, developmentally beneficial) products that have been lifesavers, parenting approaches that have resonated deeply, and early education approaches that have brought endless joy to my little one and countless other families enrolled in our schools. I can't wait to share all the gems I've uncovered and to hear about your own experiences and recommendations.
